Occurrences first reported

Does anyone know if the term "Occurrences first reported" is the same as what I would think of as Claims made. If so, could there be some provision for "Occurrences first discovered" or something like that?

Well, I can't say if it is the same as what you would think of as Claims made, now can I? But, yes, I would guess so.

Different lines of business use somewhat different terms in their forms. "Losses discovered" is typically a fidelity and surety term.
