View Full Version : Is TIA alone enough?

I'm sitting for C in less than two weeks and I'm only half way done with the TIA video lectures. I'm not sure if I can finally make it but as least I should attempt it right? As time limits, I'm going through the lesson really really fast, like 8 lessons per day as I'm skipping all my classes and literally staying at home all the time. It is really exhausting but I don't have another choice at this point. If I can keep going like that, I would probably be done with learning by the end of this week, which leaves myself about a week to review.
What I'm worried about is that I'm not sure if I'm just memorizing stuff or actually understand them. I'm doing OK with the problem sets after each lesson. In TIA lectures, Dave usually did example questions that are similar with those in the problem sets and I think that's why I don't find those questions complicated. But the real thing might be totally different and that makes me really nervous. Any suggestions about this? And, it would be nice if anyone can give me some advices on my schedule, though I guess the answer is 'study as many lessons as you can everyday'.

I'm taking it in two weeks two, but i would say measure your self on the practice exams when you are done. they are harder than the problem sets

TIA also has review lessons. I would say do a few full-length exams to see where you stand. Exam C really has A LOT of materials and it requires very different techniques than the other 4 preliminary exams IMO.

You lose nothing if you take it, since there are no refunds. If you don't pass, look at it as another practice exam before June. In the meantime, make sure you get through all the material. Try to do as many problems as possible before your sitting.
