POSITION SUMMARY
The Pension Risk Transfer markets present significant growth opportunities for Prudential Retirement. Prudential has established leadership positions in these markets, and is poised for additional growth and strategic investment in these businesses. To support this business growth, the P&SS Finance organization has created a new Associate Manager position.
Responsibilities of this position will include:
• Pricing of Pension Risk Transfer and Structured Settlement opportunities.
• Mortality and retirement analysis
• Cash flow generation
• Setting rates used for various products
• Developing models as needed to monitor and manage the post-closing requirements of innovative transactions.
• Ensuring model review is appropriately carried out on all interim models needed to monitor and manage the post-closing requirements of innovative transactions
• Performing calculations and reconciliations in support of in-force Pension Risk Transfer products.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of financial experience.
• Experience with Mortality Tables, cashflow creation and financial forecasting and modeling
• Society of Actuaries exams a plus
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Strong PC skills (Excel, VBA)
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
• Experience in maintaining a controlled environment and protecting sensitive information
• Comfortable working independently on large analytical projects
