Reporting to the Pricing Manager, Quebec Region, the Pricing Team Leader works with colleagues and staff to ensure the timely completion and analyses of various reports, including impact and dislocation analyses, tracking and monitoring reports, rate indications and rate filings for the Quebec region.

Specific Responsibilities:
•Primary actuarial contact for other departments regarding pricing information and analyses for Quebec region.
•Works closely with other departments to review and propose product and pricing changes for Quebec region.
•Oversees and helps with the preparation of pricing and rate analyses and data collection from both internal and external information sources.
•Oversees the scheduling and production of rate filings to be submitted to various regulating bodies, including the support of any follow up questions.
•Oversees and directs ad hoc requests for rating and coverage profiles through interdepartmental requests.
•Recommends and implements enhancements to ratemaking processes.
•Provides leadership and guidance, technical instruction and ongoing feedback to direct reports regarding performance, productivity, work quality, personal conduct and adherence to Corporate policies and procedures.

Qualifictions:
•Uversity degree in Actuarial Science or a relevant discipline.
•Must have successfully completed a minimum of 4 exams of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
•4+ years of relevant full-time pricing experience.
•Strong programming and design skills, including in depth knowledge of SAS and Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, etc.).
