I visited the twoplustwo site today and found a thread in the poker theory section about a poker bot.

Just thought it might be interesting.

Funny, he claims his bot can beat any game, yet his bot will fold AA pre-flop in a limit hold'em game.

He keeps saying his bot plays perfect pot odds. WTF, does that mean? You could only play perfect pot odds if you knew the cards of all the other players.

i don't question that his program is weak. but it does mean that it is definately possible to make a bot and have them play online for you.

Id be worried about the possibility of the bot stealling personal info and forwarding it to the creater.

is sponge's depature from the poker section really for religious reasons? or was that just a cover for him to crush the online games with his pokerbot?
