Aon Senior Consultant Asset Liability Management – Chicago, IL
Description
The Senior Consultant Asset Liability Management is responsible for leading the execution and delivery of consulting advice to internal and external institutional clients. They also participate in marketing activities intended to develop new consulting relationships and look for opportunities to leverage work into sales. Must have strong management skills and oversee several project managers as well as production. Demonstrate initiative and ownership of all client-related work. Exhibit very strong knowledge of Asset Liability Management, and be an expert resource in Liability Driven Investment. Make presentations to and deal directly with clients. You will support the firm's activities in general. Efficiently manage internal resources to allow for effective handling of multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously. Provide leadership that contributes to the success of assigned client teams. Participate in and contribute to the success of marketing activities. You must have the ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and be a Team player who can work with a variety of individuals. Work independently on a variety of projects, receive instructions from a number of people and meet project deadlines. This position requires excellent planning and organizational skills and accuracy and attention to detail.
* Requires substantial travel to service clients. (Up to 15 days per month may be necessary on occasion)

* Interact with RFM
* Participate in Sales efforts
* Act as an expert in LDI
* Participate in Marketing activities and Sales
* Manage projects and oversee several Junior project managers
* Deal directly with clients and make presentations
Qualifications
* 5-10 years of relevant actuarial experience strongly preferred
* Bachelor Degree in actuarial science, math, finance or economics
* MBA or CFA preferred
* Knowledge of Proval actuarial valuation system strongly preferred
* Actuarial credentials (FSA, ASA, EA and/or investment credentials (CFA) strongly preferred
* Strong analytical skills
* Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week during busy times
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
