Selecting test window

Do we need to select the test windo at the time of ordering the course. Isn't it possible to change the window when registering with Prometric without any cost?

You select a "test window" which identifies which material you'll be tested over. I think this is to allow The Institutes to incorporate syllabus changes w/o affecting how students are tested.

For example, they might make changes that would be "effective" 9/1/2012. However, if you're signing up during July 2012, you can choose the "current" window or the "new" window for what material to be tested on.

As I understand it, regardless of which window you select, you have one year from the time you sign up to schedule and take the Exam. So if you sign up for the "new" window on 7/20/2012, the earliest you can take the on-line course exam would be the first testing window after 9/1/2012; but latest you'd have to take the exam would be 7/19/2013.
