Scotty's insane.

I'd raise preflop with MyFriend's hand.

How many spots paid?

I don't see any real problems with MyFriend's play.

Scotty's play seems terrible.

It all worked out pretty well for myfriends, but I'm thinking that the bet on the river was a pretty big risk. After being checked to are you allowing the big stack to move all in here? Can you call if he does? Is the 12,000 value (+pot size) worth that risk (the percentage of times that he'll call that with a loser or fold a winner)?

Maybe it is.

OP really needs to work on the poker posts...a better explanation of the situation would help...how many left etc
