I would love to work in Rhode Island. As an SOa student taking exam 4, what are the opportunities available to me?

I found P&C RI positions, but not SOA-side ones. Doesn't mean they don't exist, though, as there are many RI employers of SOA designated actuaries, just that my recent copy of our database doesn't include any SOA explicit student openings in RI. A lot of times in such situations we will run a student's background by employers who may now be in a position to hire.

Consider working south of boston and living in RI. A friend of mine had to do that for a life/pension position.
