Can I appear for Exam 2 before taking Exam 1???

Hi guys,
Just about 3 months for the D-day and I haven't started with course. I have also got to appear for CFA Level I in June. I don't have enough time to study for Exam 1 but I have gone thru Exam 2 course and I think I can manage that in May. Please let know if there r overlapping issues which can create problems during the Exam 2 prep (without studying for Exam 1).

it's not a problem. my friend took course 2 and the CFA exam last may and passed both.

You can always not show up for Exam 1. If you've already signed up, ask for a refund.
There are no rules to order of taking exams. There are a lot of rules, mind you, but none about order.
