From reddit:
CNN has an article from a Christian pastor about where god was during the Aurora CO Batman shootings; this is the first comment...and it's brilliant

imassume (technical term) you know about theodicy
just look it up in wikipedia if you don't. the concept is far from new, obviously
theodicy has been invoked for natural disasters, but when it's people being shitty to other people, one doesn't need to involve god. we do it to ourselves. ta da.

Church suffered a setback -- someone may ask "where's that omnipotent, omniscient, omnibenevolent God that church lied about all the time?"

Yeah, because this is the first time anything bad has ever happened. Those church people will never know how to deal with it...

FoxNews received word from God that he was out trying to see if anyone was willing to spend an evening or weekend with Baby, ByeBye, whether platonically or romantically, but to no avail

This is actually pretty easy to defend from a theistic perspective and is consistent with most every Christian denomination.

The atheists gave up on this one sooner than I expected them to. There are still several things that are said in every religion thread that haven't been said in this one yet.
