The excerpt from Life Practice Area PD executed plan seems to show that SOA is willing to accept rather short summaries of what people learned through the seminars etc. (as opposed to half-a-page write-ups per each credit). Any comments?

They might accept them because they don't read most of them. Of course it's up to your advisor to pass them. The reason the life examples are so short is because they did not include any session summaries. The society doesn't require session summaries for approved meetings. Personally I think they are too short and you should be able to write 3/4 of a page for each one. (1.5 line spacing) It might be helpful to make sure you include in each report a)one thing you agreed with, b)one thing you disagreed with, and c)how this will help your current job or future career. This will show that you spent time thinking about it.
