I am not sure if Len has pegged to many things this off season. Personally, I don't look at him as a solid source of information. If it was Mortensen or John Clayton, most the lastter, I would put more credence in it. This is not to say that the assistant nobody will not get the job.

Clayton was on ESPN Radio this morning and said it was most likely going to be Green with the job, and if he said no, they would look to Shell and then maybe the assistants.

Although I still don't think it will ever happen, I did find a quote from an article on nfl.com that at least mentions Parcells's name as a possible candidate for the Raiders job:

Most likely candidate to me is their offensive coordinator, Callahan. Dennis Green has all but pulled his name out of the running. I can't see Al Davis re-hiring Art Shell, and the other names are I think too big to co-exist with Davis.
