And yes, I'm just saying that because I'm gay.

This is kind of a dumb question, but, is she gay? If so, I had no idea. I didn't poke around the site enough to read something conclusive.

She's married to a man, but she's bisexual. I think. She speaks of having sex with men and women but I don't know exactly how she classifies herself.
Her signature line is "I used to think I was bisexual, but now I think I'm just a slut."

Hmm, sounds familiar.

Anyway, thanks for the clarification.

3) Send a free fax to your Representatives, telling them you oppose the Federal Marriage Amendment (through the ACLU website)Why would the ACLU (as an organization) take a position on a proposed amendment?

Because the purpose of the measure is to restrict civil liberties(or, more precisely, launch a preemptive stirke against an emerging one).
I would expect them to take a position against, say, a proposed repeal of the First Amendment.

You're right, I forgot that civil liberties, and not the Constitution, was their starting point. Maybe they should work "civil liberties" into their name.
