Does anyone know of any freeware that will allow me to view word documents on my palm? I do not need edit abilities.

I used a program called palmdocs which will save a word document into palm format, but it only works for text. My documents have embedded objects. In particular, equation editor objects.

Have you tried tucows (http://www.tucows.com)? If they don't have such a thing, I'd say it doesn't exist. Given the complexity of equation handling, I suspect it doesn't.

There's probably something at Mobile Yahoo (http://mobile.yahoo.com/wireless/downloads?.mcb=&type=palm). I've grabbed freeware for my Pocket PC from there.

Not free (although it was included in my Sony) is Documents to Go, about $25-$35. It allows viewing and editing of Word and Excel documents (although simple editing and not big / complicated spreadsheets due to the RAM in the PDA). It also synchs the documents with your hard drive and LAN.
