Skim. Been drinking it so long, all the otherstuff looks like cream!

Skim might as well be water.
Whole seems like too much fat content.
1% is cheaper than 2% at our market.

1% is the winner.

Why do you care?

I kind of like that skim milk with the stuff added to make it taste like 2%. But I worry about what kind of non-nutritive food additives they used to accomplish this. So we typically get the 1%.

Skim. The other stuff tastes too thick, unless it's chocolatey good, in which case I can handle 1%.

Skim. I get enough fat and cholesterol from other sources.

Skim for me. The rest of the family drinks 1%.

Do your cats also get skim, Ammie?

Four people in my house, four kinds of milk.

I drink skim, my husband drinks 1%, the 9 YO drinks 2% and the baby drinks whole.

Shouldn't this be in the survey area instead of the <s>religious</s> cyberchat area?

You're correct. I apologize to all who were offended. I should have called this thread "Milk Discussion".

Skim. When first switching to skim I thought it tasted like water but now 2% tastes like cream.

5 gallons of skim per week. Betty drinks 2%, but only about .5 gallons per week; I usually finish the rest.

skim

whatever you get used to tastes "right" so why not get used to the healthiest?

None except on cereal, when it doesn't matter. The kids now drink 2%. The pediatrician required them to drink whole until they were school age - something about the calcium absorption being significantly more effective with the higher butterfat content.

Milk is nasty. Only calcified OJ for me.
