My best friend, douglan, has just become a member here b/c of our great Poker thread. Yeah, I know it's technically the Games thread, but who are we kidding? We now why this thread is here.
Anyway, I just wanted to welcome him and his input. He's a pretty good player (better than me that's for sure) and I hope you all find his commentary helpful. I do.
BTW, douglan, I still think you're a jerk! :P

Sotally, or rdavey, or whatever you are calling yourself these days...I appreciate the "warm" introduction...and folks, don't let him fool ya...just when you think you have Sotally painted into a corner on the poker table, he'll fish out an inside straight draw and take you down...

If he keeps calling me when all he has is an inside straight draw, I will be a wealthier man. :)
So douglan, care to share you usernames on party and/or stars?

it just dawned on me when I re-read this that sotally is gay, and he and douglan are gay together. NTTAWWT. "fish", "warm", "inside straight draw". this is the gayest prose ever.
courageous of you, ST, to come out like you did. are you and dougie still an item? if so, a big Woo-Hoo!!! to you.

So I figured out the whole ST/douglan dynamic. ST has lost a lot of hair, so next to him, douglan's receding hairline doesn't look too bad. Douglan is an lawyer so next to him, ST being an actuary doesn't look that bad.

Coach Who Should Ride The Bus To Work This Week
Miami (Ohio) rookie head coach Michael Haywood (37), whose team is yet to score in two games. Combined margin of defeat: 90-0 against Kentucky and Boise State. In 113 offensive plays this season, Miami has one gain of more than 20 yards -- a 22-yard pass from quarterback Daniel Raudabaugh to Jamal Rogers in the season opener.
Out of 120 teams, the RedHawks rank 104th or worse in 13 statistical categories. Much of that is a reflection on fired coach Shane Montgomery, who had the program atrophy on his four-year watch.
You should be proud doogie!!
