Using PD for ASA

Anyone here getting their ASA by doing PD for one of the two exams? Also, if you do, do you have to do the FSA PD on the same topic?

I can't imagine why you would have to. It seems like you'd have an easier time getting your FSA PD approved if it didn't overlap with your ASA PD.

I got my ASA through PD. There shouldn't be any reason you would need to do the FSA PD on the same topic. You may notice the SoA hasn't quite updated their own processes for this. Many of the forms you fill out and sign for the PDare still FSA related. When I completed the PD, they actually sent me a letter telling me I was now qualified to take the FAC (even though I still need Cs 5, 7 and 8!!!!) I thought about trying it, but thought better of it.
