What statistical softwares are you using at your insurance c

I'm starting my first in a french insurance company, and I'm looking for a new statistical software to work with. What advices could you give to me ?

I've worked w/ SAS about 13 years ago. I liked it then but I don't know if it is still considered state of the art.
