Q33NY

[Damn, Dirty Ape]

Anyone hear about this?

Occording to a VERY unreliable source (my brother-in-law), "Q33NY" was the "registration number" of the first plane to collide with WTC, AA flight 11 (I have no idea what a registration number is).

If you open Word and type "Q33NY" (case sensitive), choose a large font (36+) and switch the font style to Wingdings, an ominous message appears.

I dunno. I'm about 99% sure this is a hoax.

No, font size doesn't matter. Larger font makes the webdings clearer.

If your so sure it is a hoax why did you post it?

From the above website:

The actual flight numbers were as follows: American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175. It's clear, then, that someone carefully fabricated the sequence of numbers and letters in the email to achieve the desired effect"

This was refering to the first version of this email hoax. Someone later change it to the registration number!

They also give so other weird combos of letters for wingding fonts.


May I suggest people use the many resources on the internet to get a laugh at all the dumb ass hoaxes out there
