This is a fairly concise description from Purdue, but I think Pillow's "bean actuary" site is the best. Despite the unfortunate web address.

Yes I have a personal actuary -- he cuts the grass, takes out the garbage, washes the cars, etc...everybody needs a personal actuary!...lol
