I was wondering how long the WSOP qualifier was going to last. I know they were running a lot of satellites for it, and it might depend on how many people are in it, but if it starts at 9:00 EDT - how long would it likely go - seems like it could go a long time, unless they really jack the blinds to force the action.

Finished 163 out of 623 in the 300+25 WSOP multi.

Had only 1000 in chips, with the blinds at 100/200. Had pocket 2's, went all in preflop, hoping to pick up the pot. Got called from a guy with A9s, and of course he hit.

It was fun and a good experience, just too bad I couldn't make it further.

Leiner, did you qualify for the 300+25 via a sattelite, or did you pay the big bucks?

I played in a 22+2 satellite on party last sunday, finished 4th out of 135 to qualify.

I'm not a big roller, I usually stick to the 10 or 20 sng's.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention.

If any of you still play on party, try not to make against PokerJoker. In case you guys don't know, he finished 47th at the WPT at Bellagio, and of course he was sitting at my table from the start in my multi last nite.

I did not get into any confrontations with him, but others were calling his raises cold and then folding, letting him build his stack. Gotta give the guy respect, but don't just throw him your money!

But anyways, that was cool to be sitting at the same table as him. I wasn't scared of anyone, just the cards I was being dealt.....For the most party, very UGLY!!

OK a standing nightly (excluding mondays once the league starts) 9pm eastern sng tourney for rf members. If you're interested in participating stop by the RF chat room about 5 minutes before 9. We likely won't wait up like we did last night unless we know that someone is coming. (Last night we were pretty sure we had more coming).

Depending on the number of people we have we can pick a single table or a two table. I don't think we'll have a problem getting into a two table at 9pm.

If we start showing a great interest on a weekly basis (ie more than 12) we can create private events.

btw the advantage of these impromptue semi private events is that we get outside plays to help fund our poker addiciton. If every event was just forum people then we as a group would be losers (due to the rake fee) However if we do this half forum and half outsiders thing we as a group have a decent chance at making a small profit.

A possible interesting twist as well is each night at 9:05 Stars hosts a head ups tournament. $22 to enter, $760 top prize, 128 entrants.

If there's interest, we can give those a shot once in a while as well. Heads Up is a whole different animal, and lots of fun.

I wanna play too. I have money out on Party, but not on Stars. Is there an easy way to get money out there? It would be sweet is someone would let me tranfer to them on Party and they could tranfer me to stars. Just like fifty bucks. Could anyone do this?
