i'm pretty much done going through the interest theory text and have been using the temple study guide. everything seems pretty straightforward, but i'm on chapter 8 which is depreciation. how important is this topic? it seems like a pain in the a$$ to memorize the different equations for the types of depreciation methods. anyone have any tips for these questions?

Study Chapter 8. When I took the Course 2, there were two questions from Chapter 8. One of these was a question involving shorting stocks.

I think some of the most diffucult theory of interest questions are about depreciation. I'm not suggesting you skip it. Just be sure you understand and know how to use the formulas very well. The reviewers were quite helpful for me. Just solve a lot of problems so you'll get used to it.

Depreciation isn't a big part of the test. In my opinion, it's just plug in chug. I simply memorized the formulas the day before, looked at a few examples for each of them and that way plenty. I wouldn't spend a whole lot of time on them.
