Here are the latest Vegas odds as of the time of this post.

OREGON 10-1
KENTUCKY 15-1
ILLINOIS 18-1

I would put $2 on each of the 7 teams with 20-1 or higher. Total bet = $14. For the price of a good deli sandwich I can have a lot of fun and maybe get a lucky payoff.

You would have to put about $50 on Duke to not have near as much fun as picking a long shot. A very poor risk to reward ratio.

Missouri. They're capable of playing championship quality hoops--but can they do it four more times?

Duke at 5-6 is a joke. I'm not a Duke hater, but they aren't that head and shoulders above the competition.

By the way, if you convert those odds into probabilities, the total is 2.14.

Do you know a bookie who'll give you Vegas odds on a $2 bet?

I'll "pretend" to put $20 on both Pitt and Maryland, my picks in the other thread. Ah, what the heck since this is make believe, make it a million each

I like Duke, but would not bet those odds.

Arizona at 10-1 looks higher than it should be.

$50 on Kansas and $10 on Kentucky.

Funny that Pitt/Kent St. is currently a pick'em game. Kent was 1 point favorite yesterday, but overall odds are much different. Bettors must think Kent matches up with Pitt, but not the rest of the field.

Maryland may have to beat Kentucky, UConn, Kansas and Duke to win the title. That would be impressive.

wouldn't have Duke as the favorite let alone better than even money.

Isn't Kent favored ver Pitt, surprised odds are lower.

Best bet CT at 20-1;

Kent State opened as a 1 point favorite. Line got bet down to a pick and is a pick as of this morning.

I see no reason to change my original pick to win it all - Kansas. They're blowing people out and Duke had problems with Notre Dame. Cincinnati's gone, but Oklahoma is still tough. Maryland will have a tough one with Kentucky, and then another battle with (hopefully) UCONN. I will also stick with my original Final Four picks of Duke, Kansas, UCONN, and Oklahoma, with Duke and Kansas meeting in the finals.
