I like #1. 2 and 4 remind me of a ram or a mountain goat. If the way the game has been going is any indication, though, I expect the living students would strongly disagree :D

I kinda like #3 (bottom right) for its sense of "connecting" -- it could go with some sort of motto about how this is the place where actuaries connect.

#1 is my second favorite. I agree that #2 and #4 lose the "p-q" effect somewhat.

Have you considered design #4 but with the Q offset down slightly to make the p/q theme clearer?

#1 is my fave, as well as the designer's fave. And it seems to be getting reasonable reviews (better than the first cut, Traci told me she hated it twice in one post :) ). So I expect that's the one we'll go with.

Now I guess we'll need some new golf shirts!
