Here's the first.
Is it clear to everyone that Maine-iac was an innocent student at death? It's not obvious from the death scene, IMO.

Not to me. I described myself as a suspicious *******, but did point out to Leela by PM that it wasn't clear. I didn't think even EC1 would lynch an EC just to get access here, tho.

KP's and Cho Da's death scenes were also not clear.

Cho Da, thanks for the memories. However, I believe there were ex10u8ing circumstances, i.e. that EC could no longer lose the game at that point.

I do agree that we need to be careful to make sure that we know someone is an innocent student before admitting them to the ghost forum.

What's with the "Better Haunts and Garden talk" between EK and 3 non-players here? Obviously could be done via PM unless at least 2 of the 3 non-players are alternate ID's of a recently deceased player...

Hi all,

I had access to this forum after my death with an ID that Leela had given me to use in order to catch up on all of the posts in here... I wanted to wait until I (Jables) had access to post my thoughts, and unfortunately it looks like I've already missed out on a few more deaths.

I think I'm all caught up on what we're doing here... I'm still not 100% of who the original slayer is/was (did we just lose that player?), and as far as I know, the slayer *still* hasn't revealed themselves to us by name.

As I was reading through all of the old threads (I can't remember which one), I saw a reference to that fact that in the last game when CubedBee and I were EC, that there was actually someone picked to be EC and was replaced. At first it seemed like a really trivial point to bring up, but it might be worth something now that the number of players are dwindling... It seems like we trust Asynchronous for the most part (from reading all of the posts), but he was the original EC in the last game. I had to wait until he opened his PM from Penguin to make our first hit (which is why last game started so slowly). His PM sat unopened for a day or so, and Mr. Penguin made the decision to pick a more active player to replace him. (Of course, looking back you'll see that Cubed killed him later in the game, I suppose I should've told Cubed that Asych was the original EC that time :oops:)

Anyway, Penguin made a reference to it after last game was over, and I eventually confirmed to Asynch via PM that he was the original EC that time, but as far as I know, only he, Penguin, and I ever knew that. Anyway, it might not be worth anything, so maybe this is the best thread to bring it up in. :)

He could have certainly PM'd EC1 and EC2 (although we don't know if they're both already dead), so why the big production. He can't honestly think that EC2 will come out of hiding by being prodded in the public forum. Very weird to post this, IMO...

I see it as just "in character" by EK to foment discussion. I agree that it's a pretty hopeless attempt.

I have updated the "Welcome sticky" to include links to all our main active threads. This may or may not be all that useful at present, but I expect that once the game is over and all these threads get moved into the Games forum, it will make for a much easier time finding things.
