Enough Exams Already

Has anyone here switched (after a few years of experience) from P&C to L&H, or vice versa? How hard was the transition? How is the work different?

I switched from pension to P/C after only a year-and-a-half. Basically, what you learn in the first couple years in the workplace is how to get things done in an office - channels of communication, getting things accomplished in meetings, how to make exhibits that are useful and that people will actually read, etc - although with internships being more prevalent now, it may be that it is more common to get this type of experience before your first full-time hire.

I didn't find the transition difficult, other than crying over a couple of lost exams (and a lot of wasted late-night studying).
