BTW, the RF's Andy Lang last week moved up to #10 in the Desert.

The real question, Steve, is do you still post there, or just drop by every now and then to check out the Roger Ratio or other interesting facts?

That's an interesting question, DQ. I just used "Search" to check, and found out I haven't posted since January 16, which surprised me.
I intended to enter the March Madness pool there. The odds are much better than here: I couldn't have finished worse than second. Then I forgot until after some games had been played.
(In 2000, the only year there has been more than one entrant, one of the three of us entered after the first round. The discussion about how to adjust the scoring was the most interesting and mathematically sophisticated thread that's ever appeared in that forum.)

It could have been another historic week here, had the jedi knight not chivalrously refrained from bumping Ammie off the list. Statistics here are distorted by the possibility that 10th place Ammie and 12th place Obi-Wan (and probably others) have also used multiple names. To make it worse, statistics are impossibly blurred by 9th place Gandalf, Ammie and Obi-Wan all making some posts as the mole.
Because of the importance of having accurate statistics, SOA posts must be under your real name. Thus, their top 10 list is a proper measure of honor.
Our 100th place (152 a week ago, now 154) would take over 1st place there, currently 151 (and holding – no posts since Feb 13). Our 150th place (82 a week ago, now 84) is good enough for 5th place there (82 and really holding – none in the past 6 months). Our 200th place (49 a week ago, now 50) is not quite good enough to make the SOA top 10: Andy Lang, with 10 posts during April, is now 10th with 54.

I'm not sure if I understand the point of this other than that some other forum has less posts-per-poster than this one, right? Maybe I'll head over there for a few minutes and top their list as well....

Honor? What honor?

Why, the honor of being a top poster, 61. What is it that you fail to comprehend?

When I think of honor, I think of something GREAT that you've done. I don't see any greatness in being a bum wasting your time on pointless discussions with lifeless people who love to talk about meaningless things that nobody cares about. That's what I fail to comprehend. :)

They (we, I) love to talk about things . . . .
That we don't care about. Hmm. Oxymoron, anyone?

It's just contradictive hyperbole.
And yet, he still posts!
It's just hypocritical, contradictive hyperbole.

Sounds like you comprehend it quite well, 62.

When I said "nobody" I referred to a normal human being, not the you-know-what.

That's true, normal people care nothing about religion, politics, or sports. The only people that talk about those things are lifeliess losers on this forum. No normal person cares about any of those things.
