I will take two weeks off with 8-10 hrs. of studying per day, during those two weeks.

Before that, I'll try to average 5-6 hrs. per day.

This means circa 210 hrs.

I'll take my 1 study day a week (2 half days) and my 2 days before the exam.

I don't anticipate having any problems with my workload.

Show up at the exam (I'm the supervisor )

As a student, I added 8-hour study sessions on the Saturday prior to the exam, plus the day before. The other six months, I studied 3 hours a day, M-F. (Family got my evenings and weekends.)

How did you study 3 hours during the day M-F? Didn't you have to be at the office? You said everyday M-F, not evenings.

For the month prior to exam:
3 hours a day for 4 weekdays per week.
6-8 hours for each weekday off (1 day off a week).
8-10 hours every Sat.
5-6 hours every Sun.
5-6 hours the day before the exam.

I am hoping 2-3hours everyday on weekdays
and 3-4 hours per day on weekend.

I admire the people who have stamina to study for 6-10 hours a day. I don't think I ever did that. If it is a technical problem, I could go but these memorization!

Oh, yes I am taking the exam for the second time and I could pass only one essay exam
in one sitting. Hopefully, this will be the last exam.

Weekday Mornings:
Start off on TBS for Coach, Family matters, and hour of Saved by the Bell, and an hour of Different World. Then 2 hours of Little House on the Pararie, followed by Momma's Family. Over to TV Land for Gomer Pyle.

Weekday Afternoons
Beverly Hillbillies on TV Land
News Radio on A&E, followed by Law & Order on A&E. A-Team on TV Land, followed by Leave It to Beaver, The Munsters, then an hour of Beverly Hillbillies and Get Smart.

Weekdays, 6-8 PM:
An hour of The Simpsons
An hour of Friends

Weekdays, after 8PM:
Monday:
Any of the Fox Sunday night shows, if they happen to be on. If not, History Channel.
Law & Order on A&E at 10.
Biography at 11, if it seems interesting. If not, History Channel or TV Land.

Tuesday:
JAG
Battlebots, if it is on. If not, TV Land for a little Andy Griffith.
Then I'll try to catch Law & Order on A&E or Profiler on Court TV.
Then History or TV Land.

Wednesday:
Enterprise
After that, it looks pretty much like Tuesday night. (However, I usually try to catch a little of O'Reilly Factor on Tuesday or Wednesday night)

Thursday:
Friends
Johnny Bravo at 8:30
CSI
At 10, it's The Agency for now. Sometimes ER. If neither of these, then Profiler or L&O.
Then, for a change of pace, Quantum Leap on Sci-Fi before settling in on History Channel or TV Land for the night.

Friday:
Fridays are a little tricky, because Dinner and a Movie may be scheduled around a ball game. But that may be thrown off if the Cartoon Channel has Powerpuff Girls on. If neither of these will work, then watch Dark Angel now instead of on tape later. Then over to TV Land or possible the Game Show channel for a little while.

Saturday:
If the TV Land Fandimonium is good, the schedule is set, right up until Futurama on Sunday night, except for Saturday night.
At 8 PM, either Enterprise again, or Touched by an Angel. Then back to Fandimonium.

Sunday Evening:
TV Land (if the Fandimonium is good)
Futurama
King of the Hill
The Simpsons
Malcom in the Middle
X-Files
Then TV Land again.

Huki: I think that what we're interested in is your study schedule, not your tv schedule. But it looks like maybe you just DON'T study.

Well, the question was "What's your schedule for the month prior to the exam?". Of course, this is my schedule the other months, too.

And this here's the TV. Two hours a day, either educational or football, so you don't ruin your appreciation of the finer things.

H.I.: What's the next line:
"You want a beer, Glen?"
"Does the pope wear a funny hat?"
"_____________"

Pretty steady, about 5-6 hours daily till 2-3 days before the exam, then usually just relax and study casually, i.e. flip through notecards and saying "yeah, I know that," without the time consuming recitation.

Studied an hour before work (work started at 8 am), ate on break, studied an hour at lunch, studied an hour on company time, then one hour after work, left at 6.

JMO fan,
So if I were REALLY disciplined, then I would get my evenings to myself then. But you start studying really early though.

I'll take three days, approximately a week apart, in which I go off and take an exam: 4 hours to do it, break for lunch, rest of the day to grade and figure out the ones I missed. Otherwise I'll continue the pattern I've been in for a while now: about 3-5 hours a week at work studying, about 3-5 hours per weekend.

Some of you guys are a lot smarter than I am

Penultimate two weeks:

4 - 5 hours per weekday (2 on the company, 2 - 3 on my own)
8 - 10 hours Saturdays
6 - 8 hours Sundays

Make sure I UNDERSTAND the material

Last two weeks:

6 - 8 hours per weekday (2 on the company, rest on my own, including taking some partial days off)
8 - 12 hours Saturdays
8 - 10 hours Sundays
(with a couple of 15 minute breaks to get a pop and check this message board)

DRILL, DRILL, DRILL
Take my mnemonics, lists and formulae with me wherever I go and recite them (I ignore the stares of the people on the street)

It doesn't do me any good to understand what I read if I can't write it down almost automatically

The last two weeks are the most critical to putting the material into short-term memory

Course 2 woman -

You have to put in the time. It is your choice whether you take the time from your family, from your social life or from your sleep, but with a few exceptions, it you don't put in the time, it won't happen, at least not beyond the first few exams.

fitnadoodis: heh heh .. never noticed that that added up to 4 hours, not 3. I can't add, how I'm going to get through these exams!! ;D

As for hours, I have a little over 300 so far ... and 2 1/2 weeks left to go. Since the last week and half will be going over flashcards again and again and questions again and again - I can see myself reaching 375 hours total.
