I live here ...so if you are coming to watch the world cup I could give you info on places to go and people to see...
Also I'm curious...what teams are you all rooting for.

I don't plan on going.
I will root for the US, then since they will be out in the first round, I will cheer for any CONCACAF teams that remain.

Wish I could. I tend to support Brazil or Italy. I'll have a better idea of the strong teams this time around, once the games start. I hope we get reasonable coverage in Canada.

NO such luck...I couldn't even get tickets myself....
2 of the sites are less than 3 hours from my house...i so want to go...

My brother is being transfer to Korea, and the he is got a friend of the USO, which has a couple of tickets, and is trying very hard to get a ticket, or atleast guard duty of the VIP who does get the ticket.
But I am going to get a scarf.
I would guard some vip to watch a game.

Of course, if my monoglot self were transferred to Korea, I'm sure I'd structure some Korean word usements so interesting that it would make native speakers' heads hurt.
