Clemens has the win percentage, but also has great run support (6.56 runs). Yankees tie or win games after he leaves losing.
Old argument: "He knows how to win."
New (but still absurd): "He makes his offense work harder."
Mussina has a lower ERA, but nearly 2 runs less support. From the same team! What up with that?
I'm going with Garcia, Mariners. 10th in K's will be a knock vs Clemens (2nd by 6 to Nomo).
Clemens isn't a horribly wrong choice (unlike not Bonds). Just not his usual self, which should open the door to others.
