That's double impressive: not only few wrong, but also knew where to skip. In a sudden surge of optimism toward the end, i guessed where i should not have. i got 3 wrong looks like.

Thanks. But I never had time towards the end to guess since I simply ran out of time. If you had the time to come back, I can only imagine how good you would have done the rest of the exam. :wink:

Does anyone understand the answer to question 9? I can't figure it out after reviewing the paper. I believe the question may be missing something.

For 9, I think for AY98 you have penalty of 6000 (9000-3000), and then you have a benefit of 7000 (10000-3000) for AY97 and prior. So you have 1000 benefit net.

For 9, you could actually simplify the steps a bit. You had the CY loss ratio, and you had the AY loss ratio at 2003. The total difference is 1000. Of course, I screwed my signs up, but other than that.......
