A Russian plane leaving Israel exploded over the Black Sea. No link to terrorism, yet.
Russia and most of the Soviet states have given very strong support to the US since 9/11. If this is proven related to those acts you would expect their support to be that much stronger.
Could it be un-related? a freak accident?
If related, why? To punish Soviet support of US at risk of the full fury of another nation?

I'm relieved they didn't attack Americans. Keep it over there and leave Americans alone.

Sorry for the double reply, didn't read your whole note before. Getting back to your question, do you think the fact that the flight had a lot of Israelis on it could have anything to do with why they bombed it?

All flights out of Israel have a lot of Israelis.
I believe there needs to be additional rationale to pick a Soviet plane.

FBI has been investigating a bus accident in Tennesee. The perpetrator cut the drivers throat and drove the bus across a median, across lanes of oncoming traffic, and turned it over after hitting the shoulder of the road.
Apparently the FBI never was convinced that terrorists were involved, and they have so ruled. That concludes their role in the investigation.
I understand that the bus-driver survived, but is still in the hospital.

Wouldn't it be better to wait a while before jumping to conclusions? Its not like no plane ever crashed before Sep. 11.

From the article: "a Siberia Airlines official told Reuters the airliner was off course when it exploded."
and: "[U.S. officials] disclosed that Ukraine’s military might have been test firing surface-to-air missiles in the area."
Perhaps the Ukrainians deliberately shot down the plane after finding out it had veered off-course?

Shadow: I heard driver died. They believe man was just deranged. Though was illegally in the country
Golgo: Not jumping just passing info & speculating. Yes planes crash, but rarely blow up. (not never, but rarely)

From CNN:
An informed U.S. source tells CNN that "initial analysis indicates" the Siberian Airlines plane that crashed into the Black Sea appears to have been downed accidentally by a surface-to-air missile during Ukrainian military exercises. The flight, bound for Siberia from Tel Aviv, Israel, exploded before crashing with 77 people on board.

I read interview comments from driver yesterday. Are you saying he died recently?

I believe the confusion may be stemming from an inconsistency on a news website (I believe FoxNews, but I visit too many to remember for sure). The headline read "Slain Driver May Have Saved Lives", but the article associated with it reported the driver as being in stable condition.

I have also now heard the driver lived.
also, the link I attached has been changing constantly as more info is available. The missile info wasn't there originally.
