View Full Version : Left Handed Exam Paper

Did anyone else notice that they were given a left handed examination. Everyone at our test center for course 4 was given a left handed exam. I think the people in our office who wrote Course 3 were also given left handed papers. This drove me nuts on some questions. Some questions took up the whole right side of the page and my arm was in the way of the information given in the question when I was doing my work on the left. A definite waste of time. Should we say something to the SOA. Would they lower the pass mark on an exam because of this?? Yeah right!!! I'll keep dreaming. Any thoughts from anyone else regarding the left handed exam and how they dealt with it.

left-handed papers??? finally..we get the recognition we deserve!

I know lefties are allowed more paper, but how does the exam differ? Do you have to read right to left instead of left to right?

It's a hoax I tell you! This southpaw (me) suffered through a right handed course 4... I think sly is a southpaw in denial.

I think a left-handed exam would have the questions on the right hand pages and the blank sheets on the left. I do scratch work on both pages anyway. Rarely is there a desire for MORE PAPER on my part.

My guess would be they check to see which hand you are writing with. ;) Unless you're a switch hitter, they would have a good idea who's a lefty and who's not.

I requested paper for my first time last time just in case. The people proctoring the exam gave extra paper to everyone including the righties. I didn't use it though. Weird... Are the exam booklets different for other exams? I've only taken C1.
