My back ground:
I had attended C6 twice on year 03 and 04. Results for year 04 worst than year 03 after putting extra more efforts in it. I knew that something must be wrong. So just seeking some advises from you all as I think that my strategy in preparation of C6 is totally out.

Firstly, how to master in computation? What material should I used?
[My back ground:-
I am currently using Actex computation and JAM. I can master every single computation problems in Actex. After that I tried solving JAM computation problem and found out that questions are of great difference comparing to Actex. Besides, difficulty in computation in real exam is more difficult than in Actex Computation.]

Secondly, how to master in non-computation questions?
[My back ground:-
In the forum, many suggested that no need study for text or study text only once will be sufficient and focus in study manuals. On the other side, some saying that for able to score well in this type of questions, we need to put as much details as possible rather than just outline or you are not able to pass. All these while I read through text once and start just memorizing outline from JAM. It don’t really work.]

I don’t mind working extra hard provided I am in the track towards passing.

Hear from you all and many thanks in advance.

Try BPP this time

I'm going to try BPP this time, too (the complete set). Also, we need to not allow ourselves to be intimidated by any "funky" problems they throw at us on the real exam. This will be my fourth time taking C6. My score has so far gone from a 2 to a 4 to a 5.

When I took this I used a three prong approach of the Actex for computational problems, JAM for the memorization, and BPP problem set and sample exams for problems.

I made sure I could do every type of problem in the actex, memorized the list, and did the BPP problems over and over again. It worked pretty well and I got a 9.

With regards to the memorization, I just memorized the basic list no real deatil. But did do a quick read through of JAM's regular outline once a week before for the three weeks b4 the exam. That helped me fill in enough details to get more points.

Would you guys say the computational problems in ACTEX Computation Review are easier than JAM's?

I have a question. If I am using the BPP study guide and taking the JAM seminar only, does that mean I won't get the JAM computation problems? What DO I get from JAM in that case?

Five days away from the grind, while a soothing voice and candy relax you.

What was going on in your life the second time? How many hours did you put in on each attempt? Where were you emotionally in the run up to each exam?

anti, you hit the point..

but I think there may be another problem,

language problem?

(from the picture, I guess "Course 5 Zoombie" may be an asian)

I was emotionally stable for most of my preparation time. I had put in more than 500 hours in each sitting. For my second sitting, I managed to memorized 95% of JAM cards.

Yes, I am from Asian. However, English not a main problem for me in C6.

I am trying to track my error after my first sitting, however, my second sitting result turned me off worst.

I just do not know what happened to me?
