More important, unrepeated shows were on last night. And reading with the kids, and putting them to bed.

Wife was more bothered: asked if I taped it for her. As if she asked me telepathically or something. She has a cell phone for a reason: emergency taping needs.

Well, you didn't miss much. I can't believe Ross and Chandler actually took pictures at another wedding and tried to pass it as pictures from Monica's wedding. Could one be anymore stupid than that?

And...2 guys of Rachel having the same ugly, red sweater...come on! When did Ross and Rachel sleep together? Under what circumstances?

We always tape it and watch it at 9:30, after the boys are in bed. Nothing good then anyway, and Friends is definitely not for kids eyes.

I hope there is a third sweater. Ross as the father was too obvious & the Ross/Rachel thing has been dragged out too long.
All that is left now is for Joey & Phoebe to hook up and then the show can end. This show jumped the shark long ago, yet for some reason I keep watching....

OK I'll fess up, what does "Jumped the Shark" actually mean. My deductive reasoning tells me it means this show sucks now. Can anyone clarify?

There is a website (www.jumptheshark.com, if I'm not mistaken) that has surveyed people to determine when a show started to go downhill. The "jump the shark" name refers to the episode of Happy Days when Fonzie jumped over the shark as being the turning point of that show.
