I'm in Boston and I agree with this statement. A friend of mine received a punch in the face after game 5 of the Habs series because he had been rooting for Montreal during the game. I also saw a Yankees' fan being beat up in the bleachers at Fenway. That's why I always find it amusing to see the Red Sox lose : Drunk fans wanting to beat the hell out of everyone. Sad, very sad... :shake:

That article makes me laugh. This entire NBA post-season there have been tons of Jason Kidd ads hugging the trophy, and all those news conferences where he brings his kid. Now this article portraying him as a family man - protective and loving of his wife and son. I think he remembered that his family was in danger for having to live with him. This is a man who beat his wife so bad, that when she finally got fed up and called the cops because he had spit food at her, punched her in the face, chased her upstairs, and kicked a door in, she actually refused medical attention when the cops arrived because that was "minor compared to what he usually does." How can it be possible for people to feel bad for him? His family maybe, but he puts them there to repair his reputation. The man himself is a monster.

Let me ask you something: would you rather a crowd chanting at your family, or a man beating his wife in front of his children? There is a big difference there.

Yeah, maybe Boston are bad, but if you are going to point out that they are rude, at least point out that the person (I agree, NOT his family - they have been through enough) they are being rude to might actually deserve it.
