Argh!

What do we have, about 2.5 more weeks to go? Any rumors on when results might be released? It's hard to convince myself to study for another exam when I'm still waiting for the results of the last one!

Whysthat? You can't retake 6 next sitting, so move on. If you're taking 7 next sitting, time's a tickin'!

The grading has begun. Trust me.
The assigning of final grades ... well, that's another story.

Graders were in Vegas on Monday (12/6). 2 more weeks is my guess. 12/18-19.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
They'll never be released.

One of the speakers at the professionalism course in Charlotte this week said the graders were meeting that day for grading. Not sure if that means grades or just the beginning of grading.
How long do CAS grading sessions typically last?

How long do CAS grading sessions typically last?
It depends on how many bottles of scotch they have.

On site meeting usually lasts two days. The graders have already put in a whole bunch of time before then. It takes 8-10 hours in my experience to grade a single 3 point question unless there are lots of possible correct answers, which can double the time. Each grader usually grades 3 or 4 questions. Each question gets two graders, and they will have reconciled their results to within 1/2 point or so before the meeting. Graders' results become input to select a preliminary pass mark, then everybody close to the mark gets regraded, and those really close get at least one additional regrade.
Then those results start up the chain of command, sometimes with considerable discussion. There's at least one major conference call - which is always a challenge to schedule. Ultimately the pass mark is approved by the VP-Admissions, and the office then takes a couple of days to ensure that the pass list is accurate.
Results are released as soon as they are ready, which is why there's no fixed date for release.
Hope this helped. I remember how awful the waiting was.
Thank you Mary. It does help having it explained. Many times it seems so black box-ish....:tfh:

On-Site Meeting was the Dec 6th date in Las Vegas that was previously mentioned. So Dec 5-6, or Dec 6-7.

How much do you want to bet 3 gets released on Monday and 6 on Tuesday? :shake:
9 is out so the countdown is on! :o
I have heard exam 3 has "scheduling issues", it is quite possible 6 will be first.

I wish they'd just get it over with. I know I failed, but after 250 hours of studying I am still holding out hope that I passed.
