Is there no one else in the world who could give these press conferences? What a whining, rambling, grandstanding and annoying twirp.

Now GW and Rumsfeld, those are two guys who know how to give a press conference.

Sarcasm? I can't tell for sure. But I for one am becoming a big fan of Mr. Blair. He has demonstrated eloquence and an appropriate level of moral outrage that Bush is often unable to summon, and which is completely lacking in other Western leaders.

Originally I thought Blair was a Clinton knock-off based on his heavy borrowing of the Clinton campaign style (biting the lower lip, feeling our pain, etc.). I think he even hired some of Clinton's campaign team. But Blair's moral compass is obviously intact, whereas Clinton probably would have done focus-group testing prior to any military response.

Hey, Hates English Accents - I love your moniker. It reminded me of the speech that W gave on the Friday after the 9/11 attacks. I thought he did a great job, but I couldn't understand why he was so angry with Scarlett O'Hara. All this talk about a war on Tara ... :grin:
