Hi, would really appreciate any advise on how to learn the open book material? I'm sure we don't need to memorize it to death, Should reading it several times be suffice? Thanks.

Be familiar with it. This past sitting, being familiar with the PAM netted a quick 2 points (Question 21). I'd suggest reading it through a couple of times just to rememeber where stuff is, which you can look up during the exam if necessary.

Good Luck!

I don't think you should waste too much time on it. Just know how to find things. I can't remember if there is an index or not. I didn't pay to much attention to it before my exam but the stuff they asked about was pretty easy to find. Also a lot of the questions can be answered from the other material you will be reading.

What sort of materials are we given for the exam? e.g. Normal tables, ISO forms, NCCI forms, the usual endless list of various distributions, etc.
