Does anyone miss the Emmy's? I saw this quote Host Ellen DeGeneres, who had just finished a morning rehearsal when she received word that her second attempt would be scrapped, told the Los Angeles Times she was devastated by the whole situation.

"I feel so many different things," DeGeneres said. "I'm thinking about those poor, innocent people in Afghanistan."

I just about gagged. What about those poor innocent people in the WTC, or in the airplanes, or in the Pentagon. Too bad they aren't holding the Emmy's--perhaps the terrorists could have a target we'd all cheer for.

They should do the Emmy Award show from the road this year - maybe host it at the Kabul Ritz Carlton. Then Ellen et. al. can meet all of those poor innocent people firsthand.
