Thank Enough and an2001on.

I am single, would like to work in anywhere.
I'll take the coming course 1. I am sure I'll pass. I think i have enough knowledge, but do not have enough exams passed.

.....OK....well, if you want consulting, I'd say start with Tillinghast--they seem to like people with strong CS/software backgrounds, and they have offices lots of places. If you want a life company, I'd suggest contacting someone at Lincoln Life in Hartford, CT. The last I heard they were looking for several people. If you don't mind working for a TPA, contact CSC in Dallas--they're hard up for people, and the lead actuary there is a really good guy to work for.

Good hunting.

"Enough" can correct me if I'm wrong....

TPA = third party administrator
CSC = Computer Sciences Corporation

Hi,
I have a graduate degree in economics,I know SAS and Excel very well. I've worked for about a year as a statistical modeller. I'm looking for an entry level position in the Los Angeles region.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

With the statistical experience, casualty work would probably be the best fit. If you want to know all the employers out there call dave spencer at 770-929-0528.
