How did you guys find the ACTEX for course 4? I hear that it's better than course one and two. Any opinions? I know ASM is good, but I still want to hear more about ACTEX. THANKS>

The part of the study guide that explained the material didn't add anything to ASM (in my opinion). I bought the Actex mainly to have additional sample exams and for their online sample exams (which I think will no longer be available). Their hard copy sample exams were somewhat helpful.
If I had to do it over (and I hope I don't!), if the online sample exams won't be available, I wouldn't buy it.
I can't say how it compares to Actex for course 1 or 2. It wasn't as good as Actex for course 3.

The general consensus at my work is that Actex stinks in high water for exam 4. Survival questions are weak in the book. Regression questions are out of date and entirely too complex for the new syllabus. All sections include the "algebra gymnastics" questions which have been excluded from exams since the change (this was not as bad as Course 3 though). The best section, however, was credibility, but it was lacking in the calculation tricks found in ASM (of which 3 were found on the May exam). Moral of my story: Don't fly solo.

By the way, are the practice exams similar to real exam questions? I wasn't too happy with the practice exams for Actex I.
