I mailed my application on Jan. 15th. I got a call today that they need a copy of my SOA transcript since I passed SOA 2&3 instead of EA1.
This was the first contact I had had from them. Based on similar threads, I think that is fairly typical turnaround.

Looks like I may be the only one really into this process this time around based on the lack of response, but...
Got my letter today that they officially have received my application. My boss got his paperwork to fill out today as well. It says four months to wait but hopefully I will get lucky like others previously posted and get it earlier than that.

I recently spoke with a new EA who passed EA-2B last year. She found out results around mid-July and sent her application in about 1-2 weeks later. She then received a phone call in mid-September saying that she was official and to expect something in the mail. About 3 weeks into September, she received a letter and her official certificate, both containing her EA number. So, based on that it sounds like 6-8 weeks.
I have heard longer from others in the past. I think the big hang up is that once they receive your application or "the form", they actually mail something out to the EAs that you put on your form where they are basically verifying your experience. If the EAs on your form, who will be verifying your experience, do not return the form(s) they are sent in a timely manner, I would bet that could significantly delay you hearing from the JBEA. A friend of mine had it take 4.5 months to hear back a few years ago and he was guessing that is what happened.
I think 6-8 weeks is what you should expect if everything proceeds as expected.

I sent my application about a week after results. Receipt letter and questionnaire to my supervisor received and sent back on February 9. I got my phone call yesterday stating that I had been approved.

Congratulations, Dr. Z.
That's interesting. I called them at the beginning of the month to make sure that had everything from my supervisor and all, and they told me it would be next month until the committee met again (I assumed that would be at the EA meeting coming up).
I hope this means I will get a phone call this week. I don't get my bonus check from work until I have an enrollment number.

I received my Enrollment Number today! Anticlimatic, yes. Still, glad to have it and not worry about it.
Good thing they didn't find out about the felony conviction. :)
