As a veteran of many a Rhode Island church festival, and having sampled the sausages of many lands, I've got to say that Portugese linguica and chourica just can't be beat.
(What other countries need to be added?)

Are we to assume that Polish sausage comes from Poland? For example, french fries don't come from France.
And you did leave out Milwaukee. I know that Milwaukee is not generally considered to be a country, but where else can you get good brats?
Polish sausage most definitely comes from Poland. :D

In Germany, sausage is called 'wurst' as in liverwurst. But I prefer the Austrian varieties.
BTW, wiener schnitzel is Vienna-style breaded veal, not sausage :D

You shouldn’t be conducting the poll if you have such a limited knowledge of sausages. To leave off Hungarian is a sin- it is by far the best. Also Bulgarian is very interesting – they put caraway in it, which is what gives rye bread its flavor. And what about Chorizo? Remember, Homer knows his fatty foods.

Hey, you had your opportunity to nominate a country earlier. You snooze, you lose - and you and your weiner get left out in the cold.
