CAS Syllabus specifically mentions that exam questions won’t be based directly on Appendices, but how about Exhibits in the reading? Are they part of appendices? and therefore excluded from syllabus?
Further, If Exhibits are excluded from Syllabus, I would really appreciate if someone can tell me why All10’s section on “Classification & Ratemaking” includes the example on “Calculating Underlying & Derived by Formula Pure premiums”?? This example is taken directly from Exhibit B4 of the WC paper.
Does It mean Exhibit B4 (& other Exhibits too) are part of testable exam material??
