Mark Green won the Democratic nod for NYC mayor last night.
But we all now that he has killed a man deliberately. We saw him do it in that elevator at the hospital. and he hasn't been right since the brain tumor.
now his troubled daughter Rachel is coming to live with him. and we all know Rachel Green is pregnant out of wedlock. Is Ross the father.
anyway I believe that Mr. Green should keep his family troubles out of our city. & I always wondered how those friends could afford those apartments.
Public advocate, my ass!

Heheh heh
And what did he do with all the black people in NY? Haven't seen any....

Certaintly couldn't find them on Seinfeld either.
They're all on UPN, blacks don't seem to be allowed on the major networks unless Bill Cosby gets a series.

Very funny Patience. The Green connection never occurred to me even after they flashed the results on the bottom of the screen during both shows.
Now, what are his chances against Bloomberg? What usually wins - money or experience? We have the same issue for Nassau County Executive, Bent vs. Suozzi.

Hard call on both. I think Suozzi gets Nassau.
I feel Bloomberg has campaigned better than Green. Hated that Green had to use negative ads at the end. Bloomberg is way more dynamic and is portraying himself as the closest thing to Guiliani to rebuild the city. Good ads, positive messages.
His lack of politics could also help. What might hurt him is running as a Repub. A lot of people will vote party lines w/o realizing what these guys do stand for.

Tough call - will they vote for the liberal Democrat, or will they vote for Green?

Nassau: I know that things have changed somewhat, but it's hard for me to imagine a Dem as County Exec over there. Gulotta has been great! He shows up for pictures with just about everybody. What else he does? ...
NYC: Green will likely win. (Odds: about 3-1)
I too was turned off by those sleazy negative ads. (I almost did not show up to vote for Green yesterday.) Also, from watching the debate, it seemed clear that Mark tricked Freddie by saying that he would oppose any term extension for Rudy, then let Freddie go public, and then Green met with Rudy's people and okayed the term extension to stab Freddie in the back.

Anyone have any affinity for Malucci? Anyone sad to see him go? Anyone wonder why he was on the show for more than four episodes?
OTOH, there was some hope in Asian-chick. Costuming managed to create some cleavage. Paging Dr. Benton! Asian-chick with a black thang!
Tangent:
I never liked Malucci. I was surprised he was allowed to say "Nazi Dyke" on prime time.
Hey, Benton is Black and on prime-time Network TV.
Now, ER has some diversity...Asian, Croatian, Black, British, Hispanics, Whites, Lesbians...The only thing it lacks: happy people!

Pouty-Girl sucks the happiness out of them all.
I'm glad they didn't go too far with Miracle-Healing-Baby. 'cause, Carter's back would have healed, and Asian-Chick would have sprouted some "owl-sounds" just by working on her. (Or maybe I wasn't watching her close enough...naaah.) Crutchy-Girl would have stopped gimping, etc.

Abby.
Croation-Guy: "I only want you to be happy."
Abby: "You are married to a ghost."

In one of the greatest economic times in history Nassau county found a way lose get further in debt. & The repub candidate is an unknown and has funny hair.
Green currently has a big lead, lets see what happens in the next month. I don't know if I like one over the other. Green has just turned me off lately.
I doubt Malucci is gone. Though he is annoying. Like the baseball player who only goes for HRs, they strike out too many times to keep around.
Ling what bothered you "Nazi" or "Dyke"? Highly offensive, not profanity. "Soup Nazi", "Dick Van Dyke".. both have been used on TV many times.
Even though Benton is black, like most blacks on TV he is far from mainstream.
I must be getting old, was there cleavage last night?

Ling was only surprised, not bothered.
No, Patience, I wasn't bothered, just surprised. I don't get offended very easily by un-PC stuff.
I'm with you on the cleavage. I didn't notice anything either. Perhaps, it's wishful thinking on DTNF's part.
Malucci will probably be back.

I swear I saw definite shadowyness! And it was before the miracle baby arrived.
Looks like Benton is working on Halfy-Half-Chick again. Especially now that she's not HIV-positive. Yet.
Anyone know what Shorty-Baldy-Surgeon sign-languaged to Deafy-Boy while Bad-Bedside-Black-Surgeon wasn't looking? I can call a relative-in-law, if I get obsessed with it. I'm sure it was something nice. Too bad he has these rarely shown redeeming qualities. But it's better than a made-up villain.

But one can't help but notice a similarity in posting style between Patience and a certain presidential power related poster.
