For me, 2 times. My dentists also told me to floss more consistently - he said once a day is fine for that. I'm trying to live up to it.

same here. I probably should take a brush to work and do it after lunch, too though. That's been recommended by my dentist, but I haven't had any cavities in a long while, so I think I'm doing OK

Sure, but on the plus side, it keeps those afternoon meetings short. Especially when you prepare well -- like loading up on garlic at lunch. :D

Wow, I'm surprised that most people only brush 2 times a day. I always feel that I have to brush to get rid of coffee breath and usually after lunch too and in the morning and at night. For the 4 people who voted for once a day is it before bed or after you get up in the morning. Either way that is just disgusting. I hope that I don't ever have to work with you.

In THEORY, you should only need to brush once a day, because it takes 24 hours for plaques to build up to the point where it does any damage. But that's only if you brush perfectly( taking the full two minutes, not missing the back teeth, etc.), which almost nobody does.
I brush 2-3 times a day myself and still have problems

Two for me but I always think about how I should probably do it after lunch also.

No flossing because I'm lazy and I can't get over the initial week or so where my gums will bleed like I took a razor to them. :shake:

My dentist (actually hygienist) yells at me every time I go because of this.

Toothpick for large particles. Lots of acidic fruit juice for rinse. Vodka for whitening. Occasionally swig some listerine for bad breath or keep drinking fruit juice. Inherit very strong teeth.

:duh:

Wow, .... I hope that I don't ever have to work with you.

If you're that... investigative of the inside of your coworker's mouths, then the feeling is mutual. :D

I guess that I have to spell it out. People who only brush once a day smell bad. I once worked with someone who proudly stated that he doesn't believe in brushing his teath and only does so in the morning because of the bad taste in his mouth. He smelled really bad.

I've worked for a couple of people with a "blast radius" of about 6 feet. Unfortunately I reported to them, so was not in a position to bring it up.

I was in a similar position once. The thing is, they typically brought their toothbrushes to work and brushed after lunch. Their breath stank anyway.
