the SOA is a little too generous i think. course 5 maps to bupkis on the IOA's system ...
but that doesnt surprise my FIA colleagues, who all think very little of the FSA qualifications. one in particular loves to quip, "become an FIA, and get an FSA free". sadly the reverse is not true.

OTOH, the FSAs don't have Sir Derek Morris crawling up their butts.
Full mutual recognition will come eventually, I think, after the IAA education rules tighten a bit. The FIAs can think very little of FSAs while they're in the dole queue, since FSAs are cheaper to employ.
