Does anybody have any "reliable sources" telling them when the results will be coming out?
The 1-4 results coming out a day early has me thinking we might be hearing something today.
I can't wait another week...Someone please settle me down! :o

Settle down....whoa.... remember the EA results came out even later than the other SOA exams last fall? So it won't come out today!
Now, on a tangent: I was watching Jeopardy the other day, and the question was "what the A and M stood for in Texas A&M". I (and the contestant) said, "Agriculture and Mechanics".....nyaaaaaa..wrong....it's "Agricultural and Mechanical". Dang!
Now, back to your regularly scheduled tension!
All my reliable sources have told me (refer back to my EA2A comments from last sitting for verification of my credibility) is that the meeting to decide the passing score occurred on Monday, July 1st. Considering that last fall that meeting took place the morning that the exam results were due to come out, we're way ahead of schedule this time. Whether they come out before next Friday is in the hands of the SOA. But the SOA will not be impeded from releasing them whenever they decide unlike last sitting when the SOA could not have released them on time. Sorry if this isn't the information you would like to hear, but it's all I've got.

A scenario for revenge of the pension actuaries:
EA results come out today, but Course 6 results come out tomorrow.

I think the scenario that played out last week is making this week much more stressful. Now I have 2 days of agony.
I've taken enough of these things to be able to block out thinking about results until the day they come out, but now I've got to suffer for 2 days.
Please, dear god, let me pass this damn thing!!!!!!!!
Anyone have an idea of what the internet link is going to be? my guess is:
http://www.soa.org/eande/course_ea-2b_may02.html

My guess is http://www.soa.org/eande/course_ea-2b_spring02.html.
Hey Yeppers, why did you change your name? No Carolina Hurricanes' symbol anymore? I was disappointed not to see a good symbol for your new name.
I saw your Phish talk under the Bonnaroo thread. I have been to 27 shows. I have never done more than 4 in a tour, so that amount was accumulated since 11/94.

Hey PosterNutBag,
I was messing around on my profile, changed my name just to see if it could be done, tried to change it back, and it told me it was taken.
So I'm stuck with flaming pelé - not a bad name, but I'm still looking for that perfect symbol.
I myself am a Panic man (Widespread Panic to the laymen out there). I've seen over 100 shows since 91, my first year in college. I've probably seen Phish about 15 times. Like 'em both, Panic just played a lot more around me when I was in school.
Don't know if you've heard, but Michael Houser, the lead guitarist for WSP, has contracted a terminal form of cancer and is no longer playing with them. It's was a pretty sad day when I found that out - but life goes on I guess. They're still out there touring right now. Here's the link to his announcement: http://www.widespreadpanic.com/news/mikeymessage.asp
Good luck with results.

Was just checking to see if I could change your name back - it worked!
I think perhaps you just had to wait a bit - perhaps for the database to completely "forget" the old name.

Thanks Traci!
If for some reason I didn't pass, do you have access to the SoA website like you do to this one? I'd love for you to get in there and change my score... :notworth:

If I did, there would be several letters after my name!
Instead, I'll be sitting here all day hitting "Refresh" like everybody else!

Second time is the charm ... I was SO sure I failed. That is one pure evil test.
Party party! And even better ... no more spring exams, ever. That almost makes me look forward to the fall exams.
